I am a fully qualified Brain Gym® Instructor, accredited by the originator Dr Paul Dennison in 1997.
I discovered Brain Gym ® through my teaching experience. I was looking for something to help with a challenging and lively class of 8 year olds. After attending a two day introductory workshop I started using it in the classroom. I noticed that both myself and the children were more focused and attentive, our work improved and we enjoyed doing the movements. I spent the next two years training to be an instructor and carried on teaching at the same time to gain experience of using Brain Gym ® in the classroom and in nursery. I now devote my time and learning to the development of training for LEA’, teachers, parents and children whilst running a small practise of individual work from Glasgow.
