Brain Gym in the Classroom

This course is run as 'In House' training for Primary and Secondary establishments and Local Educational Authorities

Course Format:
One full day or two half days or 2 x 2hr twilights.

Course Aim:
A practical workshop to explore the use of Brain Gym ® in the Classroom as a fun and effective way to support their learning.

Details:
In this workshop you will explore:-

• Brain Gym ® background.
• Key principles underlying Brain Gym®. An Exploration of the key principles underlying Brain Gym®.
• An introduction to Brain Gym ® movements to help facilitate the development of laterality. Brain Gym techniques to develop literacy and numeracy skills in the classroom, gross and fine motor skills, listening and balance for children. Both experiencing the exercises and how to teach them to others. An important part of the workshop where time is spent exploring key elements within each exercise.
• Suggestions and practise to integrate Brain Gym ® into the working environment. The finer detail points that make these movements more effective, the coping strategies displayed by children challenged by the movements, techniques to guide the child towards developing the necessary connections to achieve the movements (not evident in any books about Brain Gym ®).

Price:

• Full day: £440 up to 12 people and £20.00 per head thereafter to max of 30 participants.
• ½ day: £236 up to 12 people and £14 per head thereafter to a max of 30 participants.
• Twilight: £122 per hour up to 12 people and £14 per head thereafter to max of 30 participants.
• Travelling expenses at 27p per motor mile or return train or flight fare. (accommodation where relevant).
